Shape of Prayer~

There was an annual autumn festival at Meiji Jingu Shrine in Tokyo. Lots of local groups called Kagura which perform the folk dances with Japanese drums and flutes gathered together in order to dedicate their performances to the God of the Shrine. They say that it represents people’s prayer. Some of the photos show one of them. It was a rare opportunity to see such performance in Tokyo. It was very interesting for me and also nice to get fresh air on such a lovely day.
