Carnations again. I made a flower girl with carnation dress. I was inspired by the Virgin Mary of  Las Fallas de Valencia. In the parade, people with the traditional beautiful dresses offer the bunches of carnations to the Virgin and create a beautiful tapestry with the flowers.

再び、カーネーション。スペインバレンシア地方の火祭りでは、人々が巨大なマリア像にカーネーションを献花するのだそう。そして美しい花のドレスを纏ったマリア様が表れるのです。なんて素敵！と思ってカーネーションガール私も作っちゃいました。

カーネーションはスペインの国花でもあるんですね。
